Greece wasn't even on my radar when I was planning trips I wanted to take while I lived in London. When the opportunity to go with a friend as part of Fall break came up though, the concept hit me and I couldn't resist. We stayed at a hostel in Plaka, near the base of the Agora - we could step out onto our balcony and see the Acropolis framed by trees. The city is cheap, the food is delicious and history is everywhere.

On the way to the agora - the city just keeps going as far as you can see	Agora - watch your step, smooth marble	Herndon and Agora	Group and Agora	Aereopagus in front of the Agora; the Book of Acts has Paul giving his 'unknown God' speech here
